We photograph structure, and the people who move through it.
Zanji was founded on a straightforward idea: architecture and fashion are the same problem. Both are about form under light, and both fall apart when the light is wrong.
So we work slowly at the front of a project. We visit the site, track the sun, and decide what the picture is before we decide how to make it. By the time the crew arrives, the shot list is a schedule rather than a hope.
The studio runs small and stays hands-on — the person who scouts your building is the person who shoots it and the person who grades it.
